The Phoenix Special Events Facility and Bed & Breakfast, located in the beautiful Colorado River Valley and approaching the Texas Hill Country, makes your wedding or special function spectacular and truly memorable.

Nestled among seventy-five acres of oak tree groves, bluebonnets and grass covered meadows, our secluded venue offers guests a unique experience.

From small intimate weddings to grand weddings, our experienced and gracious staff delivers impeccable service in a beautiful, serene, and completely private setting.

Our expansive facilities and grounds can easily accommodate outdoor weddings up to 400 guests.  With special additional arrangements, we can host weddings larger than 400 guests. Please contact us for more details.

The Master Suite

The largest of our three guestrooms, features a nautical themed décor, a king-size bed, a small library, and a spacious private bathroom (with shower, no tub). The beautiful suite includes a seating area with an oversized sofa, a TV with a VCR and satellite programming, and French doors that open onto the upstairs screened-in porch. The Master Suite is the perfect place to relax with a book or to enjoy a gorgeous Texas sunset. Our wedding couples most often select this room as their honeymoon suite.

$125 per night (double occupancy, plus tax)

The second largest of our guest rooms features a queen-size bed, a private bathroom (with a shower and tub) and French doors leading to the upstairs screened-in porch. Enjoy a cup of coffee or sip a glass of wine while the white-tailed deer graze in the grassy meadow below. Relax in the upscale country theme of the Antique Room with its hand-finished antiques, hand-crafted draperies and a hand-sewn quilt, doilies, a rocking chair and TV.

$90 per night (double occupancy, plus tax)

The Bunk Room

Includes a western decor furnished with two double beds, a sofa, chair, dresser and a TV.

The unique headboards are custom-crafted from an old wooden fence used years ago on the family homestead. Guests in this room share a full bath (which includes a shower and tub).

$75 per night (double occupancy, plus tax)

• Guests are charged 6% hotel/motel tax
• Check-in time is 3:00pm, Check out time is 11:00am.
• The Phoenix is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is permitted only in outside areas and on the screened porches. The burning of candles, incense or other flammables is not permitted at any time in the guest rooms.
• Sorry, no pets allowed. A pet boarding facility, the Four Oaks Puppy Club, is located nearby in Columbus, TX (phone: 979-732-2787). Please contact them directly for more information.
• If you have questions or concerns not listed in our policies, please ask ahead of time.
• Please note that each of our guestrooms are located upstairs. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate the special needs of guest with disabilities.

From Austin: Go Highway 71 towards Houston. When you get to Interstate 10, go west to San Antonio and exit Hattermann Lane (exit 689, 6 miles from Highway 71.) Turn Left onto Highway 90, then make an immediate Right on Hattermann Lane (next to the KOA RV Park.) Go to the “T” and turn Right (CR 217.) Go to the first road and take a Left (CR 219.) Go to the first road and take another Left (CR 218). Go to the second entrance and turn Left. (105 miles)

From Houston: Go I-H 10 West and exit Hattermann Lane (exit 689, 7 miles from Columbus, TX.) Turn Left onto Highway 90, then make an immediate Right on Hattermann Lane (next to the KOA RV Park.) Go to the “T” and turn Right (CR 217.) Go to the first road and take a Left (CR 219.) Go to the first road and take another Left (CR 218). Go to the second entrance and turn Left. (80 miles) (From Katy 50 miles)

From San Antonio: Go I-H 10 East and exit Hattermann Lane (exit 689.) Go over the overpass and turn Left on Highway 90. Then make an immediate Right on Hattermann Lane (next to the KOA RV Park.) Go to the “T” and turn Right (CR 217.) Go to the first road and take a Left (CR 219.) Go to the first road and take another Left (CR 218). Go to the second entrance and turn Left. (117 miles)

Entire complex for the weekend, Thursday to Sunday with your event being the only one during this time.  Come in on Thursday to start decorating then arrive anytime on Friday to finish decorating and begin the Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner (usually the bride and her bridesmaids spend Friday night so when you bring in the hairstylist on Saturday you don’t have to go anywhere…giving you extra time to get ready.)  Then, we will have the wedding and reception, all in one place.  Check out time on Sunday is at 11 am.

3 charming Bed & Breakfast rooms, with overnight stays on Friday and Saturday.  A beautiful separate living room, fully equipped kitchen and a screened-in porch where you can rock and relax the day away
